Easy Homemade Turmeric & Cashew Cream Cheese


This is considered a household staple at my place, it is fabulous on toast for breakfast, can be put out when friends come over with crackers as a dip. Basically if you are looking for a versatile savoury condiment this is it! Besides all of that it is so easy to make and it’s gluten free 🙂

Switch it up and add your favourite herbs & spices or try a sweet version by starting with the cashews & water and adding maple syrup and cinnamon.

Ingredients

1 cup Raw Cashews

150-180 ml Filtered Water (depending on how thick you want it)

2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast

2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Veggie Stock Powder

1 Garlic Clove

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Cumin

1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

1/4 tsp Onion Powder

Method

Soak the cashews in the water (I usually do this overnight) for at least an hour

Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
